15 August 2024

The Lung Cancer Policy Network is pleased to be participating in this year’s World Conference on Lung Cancer (WCLC) in San Diego, California from 7–10 September.

We look forward to joining delegates and Network members, and participating in a rich programme of activities.

Meet Network members at our open event

The Network is hosting an informal drop-in session on Monday 9 September 10:00–10:45 PDT in room 28D. The free event is an opportunity to learn more about the Network and find out how our resources can be used to engage policymakers and accelerate screening implementation.

Members of the Network and representatives from its Secretariat will be available to answer questions and discuss our work. Resources will also available, including our interactive map and implementation framework.

While it is a drop-in session, we would appreciate you registering your interest to help us coordinate the event. Please register here.

Network Secretariat and members participate in screening symposium

Several Network members will be participating in the annual International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC) CT Screening Symposium (9:00–16:00 PDT) on Saturday 7 September.

Network Secretariat representative Helena Wilcox will be joining the panel to discuss how co-design can be used to improve equity in screening policy. She will join Network members Professor Stephen Lam, Professor Witold Rzyman, Dr Ella Kazerooni, Dr Ricardo Sales dos Santos, Professor Sue Crengle, Professor David Yanklevitz and Professor John Field, who will be presenting their work and discussing the latest developments in LDCT screening implementation.

Poster presentations on Network research

Several of the Network’s abstracts have been accepted to the programme, and will be available as ePosters:

We look forward to meeting delegates in the Poster Hall during the conference.
