Collaborative events with Asia Pacific Coalition Against Lung Cancer
We are pleased to be working with APCLC to advance screening implementation in the region. This activity will coalesce through two events:
- 25 September: Webinar highlighting screening activity in the region
- A webinar sharing the current situation and key challenges/learnings with experts from Australia, Singapore, South Korea and India. This webinar is open to all and we hope you are able to join
- 17 October: Workshop at this year’s Asia Conference on Lung Cancer.
- If you are attending ACLC, we warmly welcome you to join this interactive, discussion-based workshop as we use the implementation framework as a tool to identify shared policy priorities for screening in the region.
- Please also see the attached sample communications, which we warmly invite you to use in your own communications. Please also let us know if we can be of any more support.
ESMO
We are delighted that Prof Torsten Blum will be presenting a poster to share the messages and recommendations of the earlier detection report.
World Cancer Congress
Eleanor Wheeler from the Secretariat will be attending this year’s WCC, to participate in meetings and to share recommendations from the care pathways report as part of a poster presentation.
Wishing you all the very best for upcoming conferences, and I’m looking forward to seeing many of you in San Diego.
